Transportation

Well, joy. The diagnosis just came in from the shop. My car is on it's death bed. Or we replace the transmission for around 2-3 thousand dollars. Yeah, not going to happen. So I'm restricted to driving to work and taking the bus to school again. It's frustrating but I can deal, it's just a matter of convenience. And cold toes. *freezes*

I'll need to drop the job at Domino's and get something that pays better, gives more hours (better ones too) so I can buy a new car. I'm thinking of getting a manual and forcing myself to learn, but that's still up in the air. They get better fuel economy though.

=/ that's unfortunate.

I have an automatic that doubles as a manual. Pretty gnarly, cept I don't know how to drive manual so the extent of my "gas economising" is me throwing it into neutral going down a long ass hill. I'm thinking it does pretty well considering i'll average about 28 miles per gallon. Good luck and hope things look better car-wise

Ew hate manuel, but I'm sorry to hear D:

Manuals are also cheaper.... I'd suggest a Toyota... They have a NICE Yaris Hatchback for like 16k. Totally a steal, especially if you haggle. Olive has a Yaris Hatchback in a light blue haha its manual. I have the red 4dr sports sedan version in automatic o_O; cuz Im awesome like that...

I'm thinking something more like 1 or 2 k. Since it'd cost 2-3 to fix the transmission.
